[Hiring] Hardware (Power) Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

1. Conduct hardware-related requirements analysis, definition, formulation of design specifications, and hardware testing.

2. Be responsible for hardware system architecture design, critical circuit design, and key component selection.

3. Guide product hardware development, debugging, and troubleshooting of complex issues.

4. Review and approve design documents, schematics, and PCB layouts.

5. Perform hardware cost analysis and drive cost optimization initiatives.

6. Contribute to the company's intellectual property strategy within the field, including generating core patents.

Qualifications / Requirements:

1. Solid understanding of designing key power circuits such as PFC, LLC, and Three-Level topologies.

2. Proficiency in the design and loss analysis methods of semiconductor switching devices and magnetic components.

3. Knowledge of peripheral circuit design for DSP, CPLD, and ARM controllers. Familiarity with EMC principles and mechanical design considerations.

4. Proficient with relevant design and schematic capture tools. Prior hands-on experience in hardware development for RF power supplies, sputtering power supplies, induction heating power supplies, photovoltaic inverters, or variable frequency drives (VFDs) is highly preferred.
